We had to replace a 5-amp fuse on the AC side to get the box to work again. It is inside the box. The DC side takes a 10-amp fuse. These are the small automotive type of blade fuses. It probably blew when the Controller for the compressor went bad.

This box senses that you are on shore power and then runs the refer (Frigoboat) compressor from shore power instead of off the house batteries. This i think can save cycling of the batteries and that is how the life span of the batteries is usually calculated. How many cycles and how deep they go? Also, at anchor if we run the Honda EU2000i generator and charger the batteries the refer will run from the generator and speed the charging of the house batteries.
