Our new (replacement) Garmin radar is working great! - 2021

Our new Garmin GMR 18 xHD radar dome is working great! It has been about two years since we have had a working radar. One year it worked on/off and the next it died. We brought the radar dome down in a suitcase (bearly fit) and tested it while it was sitting on the deck. Worked great. November 2021 - Curently in Paradise Village Marina, PV Mexico

Then Eddie our rigger friend came by and we used the helm\wheel cover to get it up there (like a bag). Then he bolted it up and plugged it in and it is working great! Wa La, just and easy two year project. We purchased this a while ago while in the US from Factory Outlet Web site

First we tested the Garmin GMR 18 xHD radar dome while it was still on the deck...worked great.

Working good on the deck, now to mount it up on the mast as our old one was.

Eddie our rigger up the mast with the Garmin GMR 18 xHD radar dome in the helm cover as a bag to hold the radar dome for transport up the mast, I was almost holding my breath.

Ok working now that is up on the mast so we are good to go!
