Oscar came by and we had a good talk about cockpit cushions. Debbie and I have been wanting to get new ones for a long time. There are four and they get real uncomfortable especially if doing overnight sails etc.
July 2021 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
We had to decide on fabric and color. We have to remember this is a house, work, and live aboard boat. Not a YC boat. We also can not easily store them away if we are sailing, we climb over them stepping on them in the cockpit. So we decided not to chose white or light fabric. We chose a marine vinyl that is much like the color we have. We chose to make them thicker and with two different foam densities. Oscar gave us a good price and we gave him the go-ahead!
These old cockpit cushions look beater than they are. Port stern.

The space is for the companion way door on the starboard side. You slide the cushion out then open the companionway door then slide the cushion back. This space you never really notice as it is by the companionway not out here where we are showing it. This way both cushion can be placed on either side and flipped over so they are good on either side of the boat.
