Upper eyebrow varnish sanded, taped and 50-50 coat - 2019

Started off using the DeWalt Random Orbit Sander to get the teak smoothe.
Had to use some coarse sand paper. Then went under the eyebrow to get the leftover stuff that I could not get off with the heat gun.We had used Sikkens Cetol originally and it did good for a lot of years. It was time for a change now though.
January 2020 - Anchored in the Bahia de Navidad Lagoon, Mexico
The Honda EU 2000i was used for power as we are anchored
The forward section. This is on the upper salon roof.
This was the most difficult part as it is awkward to get at.
 Sanded and ready to tape...Debbie😀
 Thank you Debbie😍
We switched to Epifanes clear varnish for the outside.
Varnishing "yoga"!

First coat of 50 percent varnish and 50 percent thinner. I sanded rough
at 80 grit and used the 50-50 to sink in and give a good base.
We do not want water to seep in and bubble up the varnish.
The pro at work...thank you Chip 😁
