Bronze washer, nuts and cotter pin installed on propeller shaft - 2020

We put on new prop nuts while anchored in Tenacatita Mexico. These we got from other cruisers and are taking the place of the cone zinc for now. So we do not lose the prop and can continue on to Zihuatanejo

Tools of the "trade"!

This is what was there on the shaft that is now missing. We need to do something so we went with the nuts and bronze washer for now, at least.

Jean from s\v Arcane brought us a longer cotter pin and a spare.

I thought I might have to use some stainless steel wire
 we had but the larger cotter pin worked well.

We still have a shaft zinc on.
