We had purchased a set of Bocce Balls and took them to Tenacatita with us. We found that they were too heavy and folks did not care for them. The lighter balls are easier for us old timers to throw with out throwing out a shoulder.

  

 Possibly medium weight would also work ok. So after three more tries at getting the right set we finally did it. The Bocce Ball set we purchased is 9mm and is "Light" weight. It has patterns and different colors so up to 8 people at a time can play. This took a while to figure out. Our first set we found was too heavy. We sold that one and tried another but the balls were too small, sent them back. We tried another but there was no patterns even though the advertised there were, sent them back. We sent that one back and then this set had it all. We learned this in Tenacatita last season.
