We have a leaking VacuFlush toilet.
The yellow stuff is grease, not you know what. It is so the ball slides under the peddle smoothly.
The other yellow on the bottom of the picture is a Costco rag.
The water valve is what is leaking and it should not.
The usual cause for this problem is freezing in cold weather. That of course did not happen so VacuFlush is sending one out under warranty. Should be here tomorrow.
It just should not leak so go figure.

This happened once before and the bottom black cap comes loose. I think when we get the new one we will stake it down with some glue so it does not unscrew. This water valve we have the black cap came unscrewed a few threads and now is leaking. I tried to screw it back into place and did but it will not stoop leaking. There is a "O" ring inside but there is also a spring inside so it is hard to get the cap back on because of the spring. Last one I learned this. So the option is to replace it. Of course we duck taped it and can use the toilet that way by turning the water off and on to the toilet when flushing it or using a small bucket with a little water in it to flush the toilet. The duck tape slows the leaking water down to nothing almost.
Nicer when it works right. Still would never go back to any other toilet.
Also we are ordering some Rescue Tape from Amazon. We probably could have used it for this quick fix, after all we ended up getting Duck Tape around it.
