We are at our new slip in Paradise Village Marina in  Banderas Bay Mexico. We were gone for 6 months and nine days. We spent five months at anchor at various anchorages. We removed the SUP and dinghy and are getting ready to cover up the boat for the Summer.

Passage from Barra de Navidad to Puerto Vallarta - Spring - 2021

On our passage to Puerto Vallarta we stopped at three anchorages along the way..
We spent the first night at Tenacatita . Then we sailed to Perula (Chamela ) and this video (one of two) of that sail. Seas were 3-5' and winds about 11 knots. Quite nice over all.

Leaving Barra de Navidad soon for the Aquarium and on up North - 2021

Only a few days separate our leaving Bahia de Navidad and heading North to Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay. Six years ago it was today, or plans are to leave the Wednesday the 26th of May. Only this time we are anchoring at the Aquarium instead of going into Tenacatita (Main anchorage).

Debbie re-built the bottom of the Honda outboard cover to fit the hydrofoil - 2921

Debbie finished putting on the dot fasteners on the outboard motor cover bottom. She had to re-engineer it because we add hydrofoil to the motor. She re-built the bottom of the cover to fit the hydrofoil. Nice job and a bunch of work.

Re -varnishing the trim on steps, nv station and head --2021

These are like hand rails for navigating the companion way steps.
The gloss trim on some areas is getting dull because off all the use so it is time to spruce them up. I varnished these trim pieces back in 2013 so nine years ago

I removed our teak grate and cleaned the cockpit sole. Then cleaned the teak grate up nice but I could not find the Teak Wonder . So if we do not find any here in the next week or so we will get some in Paradise Village Marina as SYS chandlery (Jorge) has some. We will put some on there. Got some bottom paint can stains off the grate and a few oil spots etc. Always nice to clean it up.

Mirage 5000 btu window AC unit still working out good - 2021

This system has been working out good for the last two years.
This we made a cardboard pattern for and had the pieces cut out of wood at a carpentry shop in Colimilla (little village) by the Barra marina. We store it in the trunk of our car in Puerta Vallarta and store the car all cruising season.

Stern stainless and hull clean up - 2021

I am cleaning\polishing the stainless and will do the stern cleaning\polishing. After months of anchoring and the dinghy up on the davits dripping salt water etc the stern was looking tired. We will not be using it for davit\dinghy stuff or dropping the stern steps again till next Winter. A spiff up next fall and off we will go again!

A year ago Debbi made the front sail cover mod - 2021

A year ago today here in Barra....
This sail cover modification Debbie made to our stack pack made a big difference in our whisker pole handling while at anchor for our flopper stopper. It has worked great for the last year. It does need some Sunbrella  backing for the twist fasteners as they are marking the mast. They do not stay aligned with the track all the time. We (Debbie) will do that this Summer.

I finished painting the SUP - Starboard ATLAS Extra - 2021

I finished painting the Starboard ATLAS Extra paddle board! It came out well, not perfect like a new car but good. A few drools and a bug or two and I could have used another can or two of paint. That is all the paint they had at HD, 5 cans of appliance epoxy paint. But it looks good and it is just a paddle board after all.
Danny on s/v Cyclades lent me the respirator and spray can handle which really helped.
