Debbie took the box from our new REI chairs came in and cut it up as a freezer evaporator flat plate template and then made a spare template also.
The new evaporator flat plate is 40.2 inches long and 10 inches high. We then placed it into the freezer to try to get an idea of how and where we can add more insulation. It gave us an idea as to where we still need to add and where not to add insulation.
So it seems we can get two more inches in the back wall and two inches along the hull.
Then we can fill up the upper hull area with more insulation. The bottom of the evaporator flat plate will be just next to but not touching the evaporator plate. This is strictly a guest-ament.
Some more work is needed until we get close enough to do a mock install of the evaporator flat plate.
