Spectra Ventura 200T pilot hole "O" rings install - 2021

Spectra Ventura 200T water maker pilot valve "O" rings we installed. This was probably the most tricky and hard part of the job. Debbie did this because I got too frustrated and she has more patience. I did the dishes an watched (at a distance).

 Debbie and I did some work on the Spectra Ventura 200T water maker. The "O" ring kit has 95 parts. That includes a few extras we ordered. A few are for the membrane. Then there are probably 25-50 other parts like check valves, valves etc that go back in also.

Spectra Ventura 200T cleaning and parts - 2021

Did some work on the Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T. Cleaned some parts in soapy water and removed the last of the "O" rings. Had to make a simple tool to help with that. Want to make some progress as we are moving locations in a week. Too many fun things going on so I am getting side tracked.

Beta alternator belts - numbers etc - 2021

#1: Bando 6PK1040 (crossover # K060410)

#2: Bando 6PK913 Can also use 6PK915 or 6PK918 as adjustment can be made on adjustable arm of alternator for proper fit. Per John at Beta Marine California, here is the information on the 6-groove serpentine alternator belts.

New carbon fiber sup paddle purchased - 2021

 

Bought a new SUP paddle! NIXY Full Carbon Fiber SUP Paddle - Size 94 Adjustable Three Piece Pro Paddle with ABS Blade Edge 12K Finish. I like the 12k for strength when getting off the beach through the surf or surfing or going in-out of an estuary through the tidal surge like in Santiago or Tenacatita etc. Three piece for storage and getting it back by plane. Weighs 22 oz. Also the $$ is great for a all carbon fiber paddle. Purchased from Amazon.

Spectra water maker rebuild find - plastic wrap stuck in check valve - 2021

While Debbie and I were taking apparat the Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T for rebuild we found some plastic wrap in a check valve. This could be the answer to the problem we were having. We went form 8 gal an hour to 6 gal an hour of output.

Boats parts shopping, and Spectra water maker parts hunt - 2021

Yesterday we went in search of some parts for our Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe and other boat supplies. This took us to United Fastener where we tried to get new bolts for the water maker but no luck. We then went to Marine Exchange, Downwind Marine, Dailey Watermakers, and the "HC Supply" zinc store.

Spectra water make rebuild clark pump bolt broke off - 2021

 Debbie and I were working on the Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe rebuild and while taking apart the "Clark" pump one of the stainless steel bolts broke off.
