Our Ritchie Compass light went out as we posted before and we bought a new LED one.
I cut the old one off by the compass housing hole and then attached the new LED red Ritchie replacement light to those wires. We are currently cruising our Islander Freeport 36 sailboat in Mexico. We have been extensively documenting our outfitting for this adventure. Also, what works and what is not of value.
Filter Dryer for FrigoBoat System (Refer/Freezer) installed and works well! - 2017

We have decided that this is too big and the outdoor sensor uses too many batteries. We have purchased a non-battery mechanical temperature and humidity gauge.

Flopper stopper (Rock N Roll Stabilizer): new zincs, new line and bridle installed - 2017
Debbie is removing the old bridle (that had been repaired) and installing the new Rock N Roll Stabilizer bridle we purchased from Magma. This is covered in a previous post.
New LED bulbs for our head sconce light - looks good and are right size - 2017
As we posted earlier our head Sconce lights were flickering. The LED bulbs that Debbie purchased looked small and we were not near the boat (s\v Elegant'sea).
Harken 5.1 Big Boat traveler gets lubed and new lines, smaller lines - 2017
The first lines we put on the Harken 5.1 "Big Boat" traveler when we did the traveler project were recommended by Downwind Marine and were good for the hands but were lousy working in the 5.1 traveler. Then we did a second set of lines which we were better but the same size as the first set. Now are replacing those with these new ones we purchased which are a size smaller.

As you can see in the video, the blue LED light does work and comes on about the same time as the dock lights at the El Cid Marina where we are currently docked.

Zincs for the Honda 9.9 outboard from Dinghy Doctor - 2017
Another item we decided in the end to get before we leave the US. We think we have some spares but cannot remember. We change them every summer when putting it away for the summer season.
We swung back by the Dinghy Doctor in San Diego and picked them up.
