Purchased some more new small items for next season - 2021

The items we have gotten lately are small items we need for the boat. Like the cable lock for Debbie's new inflatable Sea Eagle 300x kayak

New Garmin GMR 18 xHD radar dome purchased - 2021

Debbie and I just purchased a replacement radar for our old Garmin HD radar that stopped working. It started to give us errors a couple of seasons ago and quit altogether last season.

Breakfast off the roach coach at Paradise Village marina - 2021

This is a nice little routine we get into a couple times a week or so. We go to the Paradise Village public launch ramp which is located in the middle of the marina. A handy place and right off the truck the home made food is great.

New cockpit cushions ordered - 2021

Oscar came by and we had a good talk about cockpit cushions. Debbie and I have been wanting to get new ones for a long time. There are four and they get real uncomfortable especially if doing overnight sails etc.

Our complete boat cover inside and out - 2021

This is the look of our finished boat cover for our Islander Freeport 36'sail boat. We can put it up with our without the main sail and stack pack still on the boom. Some people have the cover also cover the sail but we remove our sail for hurricane season.

Both dorad covers now done for summarizing the boat - 2021

Both of our dorad covers are now done. Debbie finished off second one a day or so ago. It will keep these dorads clean and any bugs out etc during the summer.

Grab rail covers completed with new modifications - 2021

Debbie finished off the new grab rail covers by making a couple of modifications. I do a light sanding and a couple coats of varnish each year. We love the teak and it softens the boat from all the steel and plastic. Our Islander Freeport 36' has just the right amount of teak for us.

New forward stays went on today - 2021

Our new stays.
Our two new forward stays (wire rope and swages) were replaced today. We plan on replacing some of our standing rigging each year. We replaced the back sty in 2012 with the new ICOM M802 SSB antenna.
