It looks like we got lucky and the bracket that holds the Kato Marine Island Davits to the stern rail is 3 3/8 inches not the standard 4 3/8 inch one. At least it's closer to the 3 3/8 than the 4 3/8 right! That is what our davit package from Kato would have included. And why not , theses came off a Valiant 40' and that is a Bob Perry design also so it is in the family right :)
