Here you see the helm seat arms before Debbie painted them, years ago.
These were a real good idea from the previous owner. Only problem is they are soft wood, not teak.

First off we are adding a marker on posts so that only the top part of the post is visible until you click "Read more". That way more posts show up on a page and this also helps while searching for posts.

First off we are adding a marker on posts so that only the top part of the post is visible until you click "Read more". That way more posts show up on a page and this also helps while searching for posts.
Our blog has been the
victim of outside picture hosting sites. Over the years the policies have
changed and that has hurt the blog.
The first one was Photobucket.com.
They changed their free image hosting up to 2 gigs and now you need to pay. So
any images that are on the blog get a notice that Photobucket needs to be paid
for the image to display. We will not pay for hosting images so this is the way
it is until they change again some time in the future. There was about a year
of time time we were using this service.
UPDATE: It is looking like Photobucket.com. has changed their policy again as the images are showing up. Go figure!
The other is Photoimage.org, a free hosting service which
has changed there URL. Now they are postimg.cc from postimg.org. That means
every image link on every web page needs changing or the picture does not show up if it is hosted at Photoimage.org. This service we used for about 1 1\2 years. I
have tried to download the blog and mass "find and replace" but the software like
Word has licensing issues. Others just crash etc. Could be our wimpy laptop...it's not made for this heavy lifting. So I now have been doing pages one by
one.
I am currently working on the blog. I have already
upgraded over 100 posts one by one to replace the picture links. I do have a
routine but it takes time. I think primarily the year 2015 with a few months of 2014 are affected.
Just letting you know what is happening on the blog.
I am also doing some video cleanup and etc.
Blogger has since changed their policy and gives a lot more space for hosting images and it is free. I use Blogger now to host our images.
I also shrink our images for posting for faster download and they use far less space on Blogger.
