We picked up the engine lift bracket from Benchmark Custom Welding and it looks great.
The round end is where the ball for the outboard lift will attach. The square end will attach to the back of the boat. June 2011 - Currently At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA
I was worried that we did not communicate well and it was going to a surprise. It is a real nice job. Now we need to get a backing plate. This can be aluminum so off to the Industrial Metal Supply scrap heap for some.

We also need one for the wind generator mounting bracket yet to be made.
This stuff is all in the front but I was looking for the scrap heap.
In the back - now were talking metal!

FYI
But we are looking for aluminum and here is some!
Where I found the two pieces we need
A big 1.24 lbs - less than four dollars plus we got a pad of paper.
You can play "Battle Ship" on the paper as it has the little squares! Course you could dray them but that is a pain. You know, I think a Sub is one square and a Battle Ship is 5 squares etc
