Because we have just started the blog recently and we have been working on the boat for over a year we are catching up on posting the projects so they are not in chronological order.
Most of the photos have dates on them so you can see when we were doing what.
This blog started out to just list our projects as we went along. We have already owned the boat for over a year and have done quite a few major projects. We started a web site with our cable provider. We want to be web independent so a free blog would be a better way to go. We canceled our cable internet and have gone wireless. So now we are going to need to back track all the way to the beginning. I will start by giving you the facts about the purchase of our boat.
The owner was the only owner of the boat. He bought the boat when he was 59 years old and sold it to us at 89 years old. The boat way kept in the Ventura Keys at his private dock at his house. He used it primarily to anchor out at the Channel Islands. There never was any smoking or pets and very few quests. The boat was in mostly original condition. A few minor upgrades and changes. It did have a newer Harkin furler. It has a stern anchoring system with a stern windlass.
Notice how the stern has access to the water by drop down ladder - a feature we love.
Hi guys!!! How's life in San Diego? We started a travel blog... Hooked up with Sam and Dave, we might head out towards Mazatlan soon. Just wanted to say hi!
