Two -non-inverter -110 volt buses we got installed 2012

Debbie the hand model ✋
The two 110 volt buses we got installed.
July 2012 - Currently At Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA

We wired them to the bottom 30 amp breaker.  For lack of space we wired them to the breaker.  This is before the 110 volt shore power gets to the Xantrax 2000 watt charger\inverter so the buses will not be fired up with the inverter. That means when we wire the hot water 110 volt wires to these two buses it will not go ON if the inverter fires up. So that way, if you forget to turn off the hot water heater, no problem.  Of course we run it on solar all the time any way but you get the idea. Also this gives us a place to wire any other things we do not want to run on the inverter.

Examples:

  • Mermaid 12,000 BTU AC\Heat unit in salon
  • Refer automatic shore power detector, refer runs on shore power if it is there
We also used 3M 4000 UV to stake down the buss next to the 30 amp breaker.
The wires need staking down and we did some before it got too late and after the photo shoot :)
Had to do some breaker arranging.
The one not labeled is the hot water breaker, not wired yet.
To wire the hot water breaker now we will run a power (black )wire from the black wired bus to the breaker. Then the water heater power wire (black) to the other side of the breaker.
The white common wire form to hot water heater will go to the white wired bus and the ground will go to the ground bus.
