The new DSC antenna bracket came in from Metze for
mounting.
An old electrical nut on it that we removed.
We found an old rail mount in storage and sanded it clean. The got a bolt at West Marine (lost old bolt) and it was ready to go.
A huff and a grunt.
Next we attached
the antenna bracket from Metze and then the antenna.
The new bracket came with a nice SS hut and star lock washer.
Then attached the antenna cable and snaked it through the cam cleat. We got lucky and the end fir through the cam cleat. No cutting off the end and re-soldering on a new one again.
