Bicycles went into the Davy Jones Locker

San Diego 2012 

 It was windy, so windy in fact it blew our bicycles into the Davy Jones Locker! Not to despair though as we did fish them out.

 Debbie and I came home from talking to the Dailey Water Make (SeaTech) people about the Spectra water make and Debbie said, where’s the bicycles? Not me I did not even notice they were gone.

Hmmm, they were locked together so it would be hard to cart them off?

In the drink they must have gone.

Washing out the boat hook.

First we tried with the boat hook but the tide was up and it would not reach.

 We took the stern anchor, our Fortress #16 and tied a line to it. Tossed it in the dring by the bow and dragged it back. Bingo it caught a bike. 

 Bring them up was easier than we thought and getting them up onto the dock was not real hard. 

Removed some sea weed and hosed them off. Now some oil and they are good to go again. The rest as they say..
