Not much wind right now but a lovely day and we are moving under sail! And of course a whale show in Banderas Bay!

Our kayak nicely covered and stowed in its rack!
Out sailing Banderas Bay and we are getting a whale show.
The weather is great and so is life right now!
Don't know where El Papayo is but I guess we are there!
Here's my paddle board also nicely covered and stowed in its rack!
The wind has gotten a bit better but still just moping along.
Nice day and we are relaxed!
Here we are doing 6 knots with 13-14 knots apparent wind.
Sailing Banderas Bay and we got wind!
It is early afternoon and the wind picked up.
We were pinching and fully powered up - see the heel!!
We were headed over to sail by s\v Dances with Wind with Eric and Ana
in the La Cruz anchorage in Banderas Bay, Mexico.
Our forward-facing view, sailing right along under 6 knots true wind, 7.9 knots apparent, doing about 3.2 knots, moving right along ..seas beautifully calm. Terrific way to spend a Tuesday in Banderas Bay on a winters' day! As you can see we had to have our topping lift reinstalled. We found that the boom, in heaver seas, was bouncing around too much with the main sheet drawn tight and no main sail up. The boom would swing and come down and hit the solar panel on either side. We do have it adjusted so we do not need to mess with it when raising the sail, it becomes slack enough to not catch the end of the battens.

Here is s/v Dances with Wind (with Eric and Ana on board)
in the La Cruz anchorage. The afternoon "blow" is just beginning!
There's Eric getting ready to greet us as we came around!
We came up on the lee side of s/v Dances with Wind, close enough
to be able to say hello and chat a little with friends Eric and Ana.
It's always fun to see someone we know at anchor!!
