Mermaid HVAC is done, EasyStart™ 364 all wired and secured - 2019

First we removed the Mermaid Marine Air 12000 BU electrical box and the EasyStart™364 unit. Then we had to disconnect the wiring and thermostat cable.

January 2019 -We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

Once the electrical box was free, Debbie labeled the EasyStart™364 wires so we would know for sure where to re-connect them.
Debbie labeling.
Then we removed the EasyStart™364 and drilled a hole in the electrical box case for the wire cam like we did on the 5200 BTU unit.
Then I removed the thumb screws and the wire and
replaced them with butt connectors and new wire.
Crimping one of the butt connectors.

The wiring for the EasyStart™364 was run through the wire cam and reconnected.

Now to place all the parts back into the cubby behind the salon seat.

A small space to not only work in but getting everything back in a secure place!

The power strip was added for the fan. I want the fan to come on with the HVAC unit and shut off with the HVAC unit. To accomplish this, I disconnected the sea water pump and wired in a power strip.  Then, I added a 110 plug to the sea water pump and plugged it into the power strip and now I can also plug in a fan and they will both start and stop with the HVAC unit.
A small 110 volt fan was added to the 12000 Mermaid HVAC area that will start and stop with the HVAC. We added the fan because the area is small and some added ventilation seemed good. The area gets enough air for the HVAC but I thought that some movement of air would be nice in the area.
