Edison step has new brackets for hull - 2019

I dropped one of the snap shackles we use to hold the Edison Step into the drink while adjusting the height of the step. We had set this up in 2016. So I found a piece of flat stainless steel in the bilge and had it re-purposed for this project.

January 2019 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina 

in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

This is with the new hardware we picked up from the machine shop.

And yeah, the cap rail needs a varnishing and it is on the list😓

This is the pice of stainless steel I found in the bilge of s\v Elegant'sea.

It already had two holes in it that were the correct size for the stove bolt that fits the.SHUR-LOC LADDER CATCHES.

I drew out the size and new holes for the line 

on the stainless steel covered with blue tape.

Then we took the stainless steel and the Edison Step to the machine shop.
