The grinding wheels
The key needed to get hacked off any way. As we found out we need to push the “OFF” button then turn the key off to shut the engine down. That means to get to the “OFF” button we need to slide the inner Plexiglas sliding door over.
It rubs the key slightly which means after a while there will be an ugly grove across the door. It may be right where we want to see a gauge. So, we grinded down the key. We needed to both sides as the key can go in either way.

The key is still working great for 12 + years!
