Phil came by and we set up the engine to water heater
plumbing. It turns out we did not use all the fittings I ordered from Beta Marine for
the engine. Some were flanged and some straight.

Before.
After.
Phil got a brass flat washer
and made the reducer fitting work when it screwed into the engine. Connected a
hose barb to it and the starboard side was done.

After.
After - also removed that clear over flow hose and put it on accumulator tank.
The port side is under the custom motor mount. First Phil removed the oil pump changer and slid it over. Then the elbow would not fit by the motor mount so we just used the hose barb and it points straight
down. Works fine. The paint to a bit of a beating😐
To fill the motor
with coolant 50\50 antifreeze - water:
Note:
This turned out to be not a good mixture for us n Mexico. It was too much antifreeze for our motr in the tropics. It clogged up the work

After some time and bubbling it started to come out the
fitting.
We put Beta Marine engine cap back on and continued to fill until the accumulator
tank was up to 80% percent full or
so. I can stick my pointing finger in and
the fluid comes to first knuckle.
We then put the hose back on the fitting.
Next we burped the coolant by opening the socket head bolt
at the forward top of the motor.
One side affect is the accumulator tank gets hot. So now we have a hot seat :) It is a down side of the project as it will heat up the salon a bi, not good in the tropics, we were hoping to keep all the engine heat in the engine space.
