We have gotten the freezer almost completely insulated! We added We have gotten the freezer almost completely insulated!
We added five more pieces of Dow Blue Board. Four were 2” cut to fit under the top and along the hull. The a 1” piece on the side of the hull. This really insulates the hull side. Debbie did all the gluing in.
Next we will cut and sand the pieces we put in and add a 1” piece along the hull and make it straight up and down vertical so that the evaporator plate will attach to it.
If we need to we will foam behind the 1” piece and around it ect to seal it up.
We are hoping all the cleanup work is done from cutting in the cockpit. It takes a lot of time and work. There still is the spaces to fill in the lazerett plywood that go into the boat. We are going to use the Dow Blue Board (DBB) left overs to fill in the big spots then foam the rest to seal them up so the cutting mess may not be quite finished.
Debbie is stopping at the storage unite to pick up the bending PVC pipe we made and some 1” DBB foam.
