We had to hunt and peck for the wires coming off the fuel sensor on top of the fuel tank. They rand back into the back of the galley, at least they appeared to. After we thought we located them I accidently touched them together. They sparked!
Dam, they should not spark. (wrong wires)
Next we will disconnect these orphaned off wires.

Emergency bilge pump hose un-fastened from plywood, now we can see!
So back down into the lazerett and this time we un-fastened the emergency bilge pump hose (it will get replaced any way) and then cut some wire ties and found out those wire were just orphaned off. I think from the re-power but we have not traced them back to the beginning yet. Now we find the correct wires from the sensor and one is a ground and one is a sensor wire. It connects to the gauge along with a hot wire. We attach a couple test leads (ground and hot) and bingo we get a half a tank or so! Yay it works! We were worried the old sensor was not going to work. Now to figure out where to mount this and when we want it to display.
