The refer insulation is not that far from being completed. In fact the refer side is done it is the freezer side that we are trying to finish up. The days are long now as we posted earlier. It is hard to work inside on the refer because of that. Besides the refer is a hard place to work in and nobody can see it and when people walk on the dock there is no socializing because we are dug in inside. So it has been a struggle to keep focused on this :) We did however get the spray foam cleaned up in the freezer and sanded some. Now for some more Dow Blue Board foam cutting and fitting. It is after all just the area by the hull to be done and then we are finished with this messy stuff.
The pics are looking up under the port top and port top aft of the inside top of the freezer. Confused?
Get this part filled with Dow Blue Board and we are done! It is just not easy getting the cuts as there are so many angles. We do feel it is better than the spray foam because I am sure of the fit and seal and we can make the shape as we go along making the box exactly as custom as we want.
The plan is to work on this today after getting home from work. Hoping not to get side-tracked with the long daylight :)
