Downsizing is or can be a painful experience but also liberating. Saturday one of our projects was to organize the garage for the upcoming marine swap meet at Chula Vista. Also we are moving everything to a storage shed as we are moving onto the boat. We went through photo albums and old papers, again. Last time we down sized it was also painful.
How many photos do we keep? Or how many do we want to pay to have digitized?
We do not have the time to do this ourselves so it cost $$ for each photo.
We are getting thin but still have three good sized boxes left of “stuff” to sift through. We kind of put some of it off till next time. We did make some movement but we are on the hard stuff right now, there is no more easy stuff.
The boat has been off limits as Owen is putting in the hatch pulls and is coating the Teak and Holy sole. It will not dry for three days! We are cutting it close for moving onto the boat!
I just used FotoBridge after reading about it on http://www.sailboat-cruising-with-kids.com/2011/02/digitize-me-by-michael.html
ReplyDeleteI thought I had thousands of photos but learned that a stack an inch tall is about 100 photos so I actually only had 2000. They are coming back this week and I will post about it after I see the quality.
Yes the prices are right at FotoBridge. We have a local supplier in mind to check out but if they are higher we may go with FotoBridge.
