What happens is when we have the Marinco 30 amp to 30 amp shore power connector connected just to the end of the shore power plug we need a ring to seal off the rubber end. We do this when we are using the Honda EU 2000i generator and then disconnect the power chord from the generator. We then usually leave the power chord on the life lines and put the Honda EU 2000i up at the mast. To seal off the end of the power chord from salt spray etc we put the Con the end of the power chord. That works great. However when we want to connect two power chords together we have to wrestle the ring onto the power chord and vise versa. So we are purchasing another ring to eliminate that hassel.
