We are motor-sailing from Bahia de Navidad to Carrizal when off in the distance a disturbance in the water caught our eye. As we approached and it came toward us, we realized it was a pod of dolphins, jumping and frolicking. What a beautiful sight!
April 2019 - We are
currently anchored in Santiago, Mexico
Rounding the point (Punta Graham) off Bahia de Navidad.

This is how it looked when it happened in 2016.
Looking to the left just past the white water is the inlet to Carrizal.

Looking into the Carrizal,anchorage.
The South West swell was rolling right into Carrizal
so we kept going into Santiago, Mexico.
Red tide is not a sailors' delight😌 We were hoping to enjoy the water with swimming and our water toys but even paddle boarding is tough because I would want to wash off the red tide if I fell in. Not so good using up our fresh water for that. Making water is another challenge according to how bad the red tide is.
m\v Paramour (who we know of from Paradise Village Marina
and was in the Barra Marina before we left) was at anchor
with us for a day or so then we were all alone in the anchorage.
Last time we were here was in 2015 so it is nice to be back again!
