La Manzanilla and crocs - 2019

Danny and Deborah on s\v Cyclades suggested we all drive over to La Manzanilla, Mexico as they have a car. We are both anchored in the Bahia de Navidad Lagoon.

March 2019 - We are currently anchored in Bahia de Navidad Lagoon, Mexico

On the road to La Manzanilla, we saw this truck
and were trying to figure out what the machinery was used for?!?
Houses up on the hill.
The beach break for a dinghy landing looked fine, easy enough.
Across the bay you can see the Tenacatita anchorage
and there are only a few boats left in it.
Beautiful, long beach...
...both ways!
Massages were expensive, it seems - probably because they are on the beach!
Perhaps some cruisers heading back to their boats in Tenacatita?
Our beach-front lunch restaurant.

Delicious "croque de mariscos" that Deborah and Chip had for lunch.
After lunch, Chip and Debbie went through the Crocodile reserve.
It only cost 60 pesos, about $3 USD.
There were many very large crocodiles.
Chip getting ready to go inside the reserve.

So close you could touch them 😄
Here, the crocodile has its eye on the white heron
while the heron watches a fish.

Ready to get that fish!
Enjoying the out-of-doors.
Amazingly big insect nest in the trees - possibly termites.

They were EVERYWHERE!
So glad we got to see the crocs!
