Dinghied over to Pat's shop in Colimilla, off the Bahia de Navidad Lagoon,- 2019

We dinghied over to Colimilla to talk to "Pat", who was recommended to us by the cruising fleet.  We need to build a box for the Mirage 5200 btu window AC we purchased.

April 2019 - We are currently anchored in Bahia de Navidad Lagoon, Mexico

Colimilla is a nice little town by the Grand Isla Navidad Resort with the marina.
We started out by Pat showing us a rock that he found by his stairs.
He thought it may have been from a lot that was being worked on
up the hill a bit. It is really heavy and a magnet sticks to it!
Magnet sticks right to it it...you can throw the magnet at it and it sticks.
We are drawing up plans for the box.
Nice view from his shop.
The cobble stone rode up the hill by Pat's shop.
Pat's filing system.
His shop used to be a house and he lived in it
until it got too full of stuff. Now he lives down the road.

A lathe...he helped a cruiser make some shear pins for a motor.
Solar panel for a coffee bench.
Pat suggested we make a cardboard box on the boat
for a pattern and he would make it in wood.
We were hoping to farm this work out but it looks like we will
be doing all the grunt work ourselves, as usual😞
Pat using a piece of paper to give us an idea
how to begin the process.
