Solar panel covers: pattern and first cut - 2020

This pattern will work for three of the Kyocera Solar KD-135GX 135 Watt 12 VoltSolar Electric Panels we have. The forth is a smaller Solartech 85 Watt Multicrystalline Solar Module one which will need its own pattern.

August 2020 - We are currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

We're making solar panel covers to protect the new boat cover (in the works) from the sharp edges of the solar panels.  Debbie will reinforce the edges with double fabric.

After some fitting the pattern needed some alterations.

Pattern is all done and Debbie is marking up the Sunbrella 

Debbie is cutting out the  Sunbrella.with the Sailrite Edge Hotknife..
