Using Muriatic acid to flush the HVAC - 2020

This time we are using Muriatic Acid to flush the Mermaid Marine Air HVAC instead of Barnacle Buster. The Barnacle Buster is expensive here in Mexico and hard to store as it comes in gallon containers. The Muriatic acid is in a smaller container and a lot less money. Also it is easy to find here in Mexico not like Barnacle Buster. We need to get more Muriatic Acid to flush the Mermaid Marine Air HVAC 12,000 btu unit.
March 2020 - We are currently anchored in Las Hadas in Manzanillo Bay, Mexico
Getting ready to paddle board into the marina to dump trash and grab some free fresh water. Why make it if you can just turn on the tap the dock for fresh water to flush the HVAC?

Heading in. I should have brought two buckets
because we use two with 12 liters of water in each.
Dumped trash and bringing home the bucket of fresh water.
 Getting set up.
 Flushing away.
The bilge pump we use to pump the flush has a cigarette lighter end
on it and we plug it in by the nav station.
It is easier for us to go through the fresh water flush which is attached to the HVAC thru-hull valve than connect it to the HVAC itself because of access. Also, this way it flushes the sea strainer (next time I will remove the SS strainer) and then the March Pump (which the acid will not hurt) then the HVAC and back into the bucket. It flushes everything.
 Doing the flush.
The 5200 btu Mermaid Marine Air  HVAC.
