These arms have been rather hard to varnish at anchor. We are in Zihuatanejo and the anchorage is really lumpy and rolly. Anyway, the only place we really have to hang them to dry is by the stern and that is in our way of launching the dinghy and lifting it and they flop around also.
March
2020 - We are currently anchored in Zihuatanejo
Mexico
For the next coat and possibly last we are going to wait till we are back up to the Bahia de Navidad Lagoon and anchored there. We will then remove the hardware from our current arms and attach it to these new varnished teak arms. Then mount them and put the final coat on.
We can use the water taxi then and not need the stern steps or dinghy.
