We went to a class or actually it was a two hour seminar on Basic Coastal Navigation. It was with the San Diego Power Squadron. We were looking for something more in-depth but got a good refresher course. We found out the key words “Basic Pilot” and “Advanced Pilot” and the “Navigation” are what we are looking for.
Basic Pilot is the GPS\Chart Plotter and paper chart class. The of course there is the advanced class. Then you can take the Navigation class which is celestial navigation.
Only problem is the next class is next year!
