We purchased three of these fans, two black and one white. The black ones go in the salon, stateroom and the white in the head. They have been working great to keep the boat cool. They also help circulate the air while running the AC. We use the one in the stateroom when going to bed on a timer. It will also rotate which is nice. Also, the remote is handy which surprised me as we are on a small boat. This fan while at anchor will only work only on a pure sin wave inverter.
