Removed our older head-sink faucet and installed new one - 2020

A bit overdue but while in the boat yard, we are replacing our head faucet.

We purchased our new Helvex faucet aHome Depot in Puerto Vallarta.

Original sink and faucet. This sink was just too small for me. I got as much water on the counter as in the sink when washing my face😜
We installed a new sink and faucet.. This was in 2013 in Paradise Village Marina/Mexico.
The faucet was an inexpensive one and it did not hold up well. Also the water stained the glass. I tried to keep it from staining but it was a losing battle. Also in the dark it was hard to find where to shut it off properly. Our next one will address those issues. It was nice though for a while😀
Ok, this looks pretty bad but it was a inexpensive faucet so the plating etc did not last.
Of course it was not that easy to get it out. Debbie did most of it.
Underside of the counter where the old faucet was installed.
We could not install the faucet as per instruction because I could not get a drill with hole saw in the space. The head vanity was in the way. So we installed it our way which will work just fine. They wanted a much bigger whole.
We drilled out the existing holes to make it big enough for what you see.
It is not working yet but it is in place...not fully installed.
Our Model E-907 Helvex fauce
It is going to take some 3M 4000 UV Marine Adhesive or possibly some 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200. The sink needs a good polishing but we are under construction😉
