We grabbed some spare hoses to run the test. The old original to the boat (1978) Jabsco Model 6600j (now 36600) worked great after the rebuild! This is our third electric bilge pump. We have a Whale Gulper IC Diaphragm Bilge Pump for our every day pump and a Rule 2000 bilge pump for a high water pump and this pump for extreme water intrusion. Thank goodness we have never needed but one bilge pump. We also have the cockpit hand pump.

The motor and bearings were toast. We had rebuilt the guts back when.
Now, uor mechanic Luis had this pump motor fixed.
They cut the casing in half and then were able to rewind it. Then they welded it back together. Also replaced bearings etc. They find a way to get it done here. These motors are not available here.
The belt could be replaced and we are looking for one.
I think we found the belt for the newer model but it should fit ours.
