New starting battery wiring working with Perkins - 2010

Here is the starting battery secured in place but not wired

The starting battery was connected to a selector switch which you could chose to either turn it off or on. Meaning if it was off you could not start the boat from the cockpit toggle switch.

Here it is wired up

If it is on then you can. We disconnected it temporary and have it available to start the engine all the time. We will later use the selector switch to hook the starting battery to the house bank in case the starting battery dies.
