Touching up the cap rail calking - 2024

Finished off the Caprial caulking touching up. The caulking needs to warm up as we keep it in the refrigerator once it is open. I put extra caulking in this area as it tends to collect water as it drains through the drain in the deck.

Done.
Before the summer rainy season hits, we are touching up our cap rail caulking here in Puerto Escondido while on the mooring ball. There were a couple sections on the bow that needed it and a few feet on the inside on the Starboard side. Our bow is 6 feet off the water so we have a dry boat on passages. We do however take some spray in 6–8-foot seas and the bow Caprial gets close the water.
This has not happened yet since being in the SoC. Anyway, this messy task is almost done! We used the dinghy for this and it worked fine. A few swear words were muttered by me as the boat moves and the dinghy also moves and not all the time together. I used the paddleboard to do some of the taping.
