Agua Verde passage and arrival - 2024

We are anchored at Agua Verde in the Sea of Cortez. It was about a three-and-a-half-hour passage, a motor sail from Los Gatos (Agua Verde translates to "green water").May 2024 - Chip & Debbie anchored at Agua Verde , BCS (Baja), Mexico

We had the main up full with 8-9 knot apparent wind which went to one knot by the time we got close. It did give us a decent push though for a good part of the passage. We did 5.5 knots at just 2100 rpm, saving fuel and it was really comfortable.
There are about 14 boats in the anchorage.
The water temp is 74 deg F and in the cockpit it is 77 deg F at 7:30 in the morning. We anchored in 15 feet of water.
We have gone 166 kt miles since leaving La Paz.
We went ashore to Brisas de Mar and had some fish tacos for a late lunch (nothing vegetarian for Debbie).
We also walked to the small tienda where we purchased a few things - they had quite a bit.
