Spectra water maker cracked membrane end cap - 2022

Yesterday we took out the Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe and had to separate the membrane from the Clark pump. Then we removed the high-pressure stainless-steel tubing and checked the fittings etc for reason they were mostly (3 of four) leaking. November 2022 - s/v Elegant'sea is currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta

 We did not have the membrane housing with us when we rebuilt the unit, only the Clark pump. While looking at the fittings on the membrane we saw they were pitted. We cleaned them up with #600 wet sandpaper but could not get the pits out. Then sometime while cleaning up the fittings I hit the coming in the cockpit and must have cracked the end cap on the membrane tube, darn! I think it is ceramic. We will take it apart again and try some J B Weld on it. I am spoiled and love all the fresh water we have while cruising! Now we are changing our time in say Perula on so on down the coast to Barra de Navidad as we may not have enough water, there were six anchorages we were going to stay at before Barra going to provision for food. We will order parts and pick them up in Barra de Navidad is the plan so far.

It is the other end that is cracked.
