It is time to finish our Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe rebuild/install.
November 2022 - s/v Elegant'sea is currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta) After being away for nine months because of my open-heart surgery and hurricane season we still remembered (mostly) where all the parts go. (We did the complete rebuild in the US last year. This is all documented on our blog.) The cylinders, new membrane and high-pressure lines had to be installed etc. It took most of the day, but we did finish off the project. We could not test for leaks or flush the membrane because we are missing a charcoal filter, an oversight on our part. Testing will commence once we get one!
