Anchored in Chamela - Visit from Mexican Navy - 2013

Beginning of January 2013 - Anchored in Chamela (Perula Bay)

In the foreground is an s\vShindig  - Rob and Nancy a Baja Ha Ha 2012 (Oyster 48 ft,) boat in in the back ground is the Mexican Coast Guard ship.

Note:
 s\v Shindig has since gone on the Pacific Puddle Jump and are still there 2018.

While we were anchored at Chamela we had a visit from the Mexican Navy.. They asked us for our papers and were very nice. They were all smiles and courteous. They did not want to board us. They went around to the other boats in the anchorage and left later that day. They arrived the night before I think.

   Then a day or so later the Mexican Navy came by but just in their ship. They waved but that was it. 

 

 

  Wish everything was this easy and it goes will all the people here we have met being this nice.
