Stern spotlight refurbished, painted, move etc 2024

   While he was here he saw Debbie sanding our stern LED spotlight. Chava said "let me do that with the two part paint - it will last longer, and free". We have painted it a couple of times over the years. This time we are relocating it so I do not have to move it to put on the Summer boat cover.

    We also use it with a remote control so when approaching the boat at night from the dinghy, we can click it on to light up the stern. We use our drop down stern steps and hoist the dinghy on the davits so the spotlight comes in handy. After many years the remote broke so we are also replacing that. We might not use it much as in the SoC as we have not done any overnight sailing or late returns to the boat, yet. But it is nice to have.

The spotlight is doing it's job! Flip the switch and it lights the stern up. It is pretty light in the Marina but you can still see how this spot light will give us light on our stern steps and for bringing the dinghy up the on the davits at night. On the way back to the boat at night on the dinghy we can also use the remote control to light up the stern. It has come in very handy in years past, it just needed some TLC.
