Spotlight remote and wiring clean up 2024

Debbie trying to be in the lazerett! We are doing some wiring cleanup and installing a new remote for our spotlight. Our old remote was under the center stern solar panel where it sat for the last 10 years or so before it stopped working.

Our new remote is, of course, a lot newer so it has better RF range (328 ft), and does not need to be directly visible. So that means we can put it inside the lazerett and eleminate more wires up to the solar panels. We removed two cables, one for an old TV hookup that went to a dock box at another Marina and an old Wi-Fi antenna wire. Both of these and the remote wires went through the cable clam and headed up by the davits, solar etc. So now we have room to reroute our Starlnk cable through the cable clam, cleaning up the stern a bit. Of course, now we need to cut the Starlink cable and rejoin it. Boat projects in beautiful places!
