Passage from Barra de Navidad to Puerto Vallarta - Spring - 2021

On our passage to Puerto Vallarta we stopped at three anchorages along the way..
We spent the first night at Tenacatita . Then we sailed to Perula (Chamela ) and this video (one of two) of that sail. Seas were 3-5' and winds about 11 knots. Quite nice over all.

We left Tenacatita in the morning after a nice night's sleep on the hook. No big winds. We slept with one 12 volt fan on and a sheet. Big moon out and a nice cool breeze coming through the hatch over our bed. We were supposed to get SW winds but you know how it goes, NW on the nose most of the morning. Then it clocked around and we had hours of really nice sailing, ending on a beam reach! We were going to anchor at the islands but the conditions there were poor so we came into the main anchorage. Up before the sun for our sail to Ipala (Tehuamixtle). It was so nice to be out on the water again. About the same temperatures here but a bit cooler because of a nicer breeze. One other boat came to anchor from Tenacatita s/v Hemmaa and one between the islands at the surf spot, possibly s/v Sea Dream?
Anchored in Tenacatita.
Sailing to Chamela (Perula Bay).
