We blew out a "Lazy Jack" strap on the passage to Zihuatanejo and had to "Jury Rig" the stack pack to keep it working. Also the stitching of the zipper was coming apart in places and some other places needed restitching. All done now by Debbie here in Barra, before we make our way back up north.
May 2020 - We are
in Marina Puerto de la Navidad (BarraMarina) in Bahia de Navidad, Mexico
The down arrow is where the lazy jack broke. The long red line represents the zipper. One day we removed the stack pack. It was a fair amount of work. The reef lines needed removing etc. The next day Debbie did all the sewing and the following day we did the reinstall.
We have a Sailrite Ultrafeed LSZ-1 Sewing Machine.
