Debbie is busy putting on our new Harken 6086 Fiddle Block block 75mm ESP With Becket . She is sitting on the Harkin Main Sheet Traveler System. This new block we purchased while in San Diego at Downwind Marine.

The old block with twisted line. We will probably still need to untwist the line from time to time. It is from wrapping it around the winch and cranking it down.
Here is our old block sitting on the Harken 5.1 Main Sheet Traveler System. This is the original 40 year old mainsheet block. The sheaves are a bit stiff but it still works. The new Harken 6086 Fiddle Block block 75mm ESP With Becket Debbie is putting on has ball bearing sheaves. Nice!
Debbie has removed the old main sheet block. She also removed the main sheet and washed it in water with some fabric softener. That got all the twists out.

These are the main sheet blocks on the boom - all in the Cruising ESP big
boat block.system. We have not yet installed the main sail and have some shade draped over the boom. Also some summer storage of the main sail battens etc.
